Date of Provisional Merit and Final Merit of Cap rounds 2012
Online Submission of Application form during the period of 20th June to 28 the June now extended to 30-06-2012 Up to 5.00 PM . This extension may be due to who fail to submit required Documents and those who could not confirm online application at ARC should confirm their application on or before 30-06-2012 Up to 5.00 PM.   

The Display of Provisional Merit of CAP Rounds (Maharashtra State, J&K Migrant and AIEEE candidates) on web site www.dte.org.in/fe2012 on the Date 02-07-2012 at 5.00 PM.
The Display of final merit (Maharashtra State, J&K and AIEEE candidates) on web site www.dte.org.in/fe2012 on the Date 05-07-2012 at 5.00 PM 
Those who will not get the State Merit in Provisional need to visit to respective ARC to Submission of grievance applications, if any, by Maharashtra State, AIEEE candidates in period of 03-07-2012 to 04-07-2012 up to 5.00 PM  .

How to Assignment of a Merit number for Each eligible Maharashtra State Candidate who has appeared for MHT-CET 2012 and obtained a non zero score in MHT-CET 2012 and submitted application form on or before the last date prescribed for the submission of Application Form for Admission to Engineering through CAP will be assigned a provisional merit number?

Note:
1.  Merit list of Maharashtra State Candidates so prepared shall indicate a State
level General Merit No., State level Category Merit no. (as applicable), Home
University General Merit No., Home University Category Merit no. (as
applicable) etc.
2.  Assignment of a Merit number does not indicate or ensure admission to any
seat.
5.1.1  Relative Merit in Case of a Tie:
In the case of candidates securing equal number of marks in MHT-CET-2012, their relative
merit will be fixed on the basis of the following order of preference:
(a) A candidate securing higher marks out of 100 in the subject of Mathematics in MHT-CET-2012.
(b) A candidate securing higher marks out of 50 in the subject of Physics in MHT-CET-2012.
(c) A candidate securing higher Percentage of marks in the subject Mathematics at HSC (Std. XII).
(d) A candidate securing higher Percentage of marks in the subjects Physics at HSC (Std. XII).
(e) A candidate securing higher Percentage of marks in Aggregate at HSC (Std. XII) Examination.
(f) Birth Date of the candidate. (Elder Candidate will be given preference)
Note: While converting the marks, if the converted marks work out to be a figure with fraction,
fraction up to two decimal places will only be considered.
5.2  Merit Number for AIEEE (Paper-I) Candidates:
•  Each eligible Candidate (Rule 2.2) who has appeared for AIEEE- 2012 and obtained a valid
score in AIEEE-2012 and submitted application form on or before the last date for the
submission of Application Form for Admission to Engineering through CAP will be assigned a
provisional merit number.
•  Merit of all eligible candidates will be based on the inter-se of AIEEE- 2012 (Paper-I) All
India Rank only.
•  Merit list of Eligible Candidates so prepared shall indicate a State level General Merit No.
•  Assignment of a Merit number does not indicate or ensure admission to any seat. 
5.3  Merit Number for J&K Migrant Candidates:
Assignment of merit number:
Each eligible J&K Migrant Candidate who has filled and confirmed the onlineapplication form for
Centralized Admission on or before the last date will be assigned a provisional merit number.
Merit of all eligible J&K Migrant candidates will bebased on the total marks obtained in Physics,
Chemistry and Mathematics in HSC (Std. XII) only; relative merit in case of a tie (i.e. equal
marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together out of 300) shall be resolved in the
order of preference as given below:
(a) A candidate securing higher % marks in Mathematics of HSC (Std. XII) Examination.
(b) A candidate securing higher % marks in Physics of HSC (Std. XII) Examination.
(c) A candidate securing higher Percentage of marks in Aggregate at HSC (Std. XII)
Examination.
(d) Birth Date of the candidate. (Elder Candidate willbe given preference)

5.4  Change of Marks due to verification:
If the marks in the qualifying examination are modified due to verification and the same is
duly certified by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education
or its equivalent, the same shall be reported to the ARC in charge immediately.
However the effect of the change will be taken into consideration only for the subsequent
round (s) of admission.
